The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam has opened applications for admission to its Postgraduate Diploma in Management for Executives (PGDMEx) – Batch of 2025. The last date to submit the online application is January 31, 2026, while the commencement date of the batch has been scheduled for March 29, 2026, as per the official admission notification.

The PGDMEx programme is specifically designed for working professionals with managerial experience, aiming to enhance leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and advanced management skills. The admission process follows a holistic evaluation approach, assessing candidates on academic background, relevant work experience, aptitude for management, and interpersonal competencies.

To be eligible, candidates must be Indian nationals residing in India and hold a Bachelor’s degree of at least three years’ duration after 10+2 from a recognised university. The minimum qualifying marks vary by category, with 50% for Unreserved, 45% for NC-OBC and EWS, and 40% for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
Applicants must also have a minimum of three years of full-time work experience in supervisory, executive, or officer-level roles after graduation. Part-time roles, internships, training, and apprenticeships are not considered valid work experience. There is no upper age limit for applying.

The selection process is conducted in three phases. In Phase 1, applications are screened based on eligibility and information provided. Phase 2 involves an online Management Aptitude and Skill Test (MAST) followed by a Personal Interview (PI). No external test scores, such as CAT, GMAT, GRE, or GATE, are accepted. Final selection in Phase 3 is based on a composite score, with 30% weightage to MAST and 70% to PI.
The application process is completely online, and candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹1,000. IIM Visakhapatnam follows the Government of India’s reservation policy applicable to Central Educational Institutions.
