IIM Nagpur Hosted Two Day Workshop to Train 100 Self Help Group and MSRLM Members; Check Details Here

New Delhi: IIM Nagpur hosted a two-day workshop on entrepreneurship and business management on June 14, 2023. More than 100 women from Wardha District Self Help Group and members of Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) were introduced to the concepts of entrepreneurship.

In his welcome speech, Dr Mukund Vyas, Dean of Executive Education at IIM Nagpur, informed the audience about the crucial abilities needed to operate and expand a business. He praised them for wanting to expand their company and gain knowledge from centers like IIM Nagpur. 

The chief guests, Mr Rohan Ghuge, CEO of Zilla Parishad, and Mr Vishwas Sid, Project Director of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), led the participants to the inaugural ceremony. The program's leader was Professor Gunjan Tomer.

The Wardha District of the Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) has opened stores and launched a brand named "Wardhini." This session was created to aid people in creating their brands and creating successful marketing plans. 

IIM Nagpur instructors led the participants on various entrepreneurship topics over the course of the two-day session. Prof. Ranjitha gave a presentation on marketing lessons, and Prof. Nikunj Kumar Jain spoke about managing operations. 

In addition to this, Mr Ajay Kadu from MAGNET discussed marketing agro products. Prof. Gunjan Tomer discussed business management, entrepreneurship, and using social media and e-commerce. While Prof. Monika Dhochak provided advice on managing finances at the workshop.
