Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has released its admission policy for the IPM 2026-31 batch.
Candidates seeking admission to the IPM program at IIM Jammu must appear for the JIPMAT 2026 exam, which will have a 70% weightage in the selection process. The remaining 30% weightage will be divided equally between Class 10 and Class 12 academic performance, with each contributing 15%. Students can check the Official IPM Policy 2026 here.

The admission policy for the Integrated Program in Management (IPM) at IIM Jammu for the 2026 batch shows significant changes compared to the 2025 policy.
In 2025, the JIPMAT score had a massive 95% weightage, meaning the entrance exam was almost the sole factor for selection. However, for the 2026 batch, the JIPMAT weightage has been reduced to 70%.
This difference is due to the new importance given to academic performance: in 2025, academic marks from Class 10 and Class 12 had 0% weightage in the final score, but for 2026, they now contribute a combined 30% (15% each for Class 10 and Class 12).
Furthermore, the 5% weightage previously reserved for female candidates for gender diversity in the 2025 policy has been removed for 2026.
Students appearing for their Class 12 exams in 2026 and expected to complete them by July 31, 2026, can also apply. The application process requires candidates to register online and submit their JIPMAT 2026 score along with their academic details.
Candidates should check the official IIM Jammu website for the exact application fee and payment instructions.
When accepted, students need to pay a confirmation fee of Rs. 50,000 is required, which is credited towards the first term’s tuition fee.
The total course fee for the first three years of the IPM program at IIM Jammu is approximately Rs. 18.53 lakhs, with the remaining two years aligned with the MBA program fee for the respective year.
Candidates should note that the final fee may be revised at the time of admission confirmation.
