New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIMI) has achieved 100% placements for the 2022-24 batch, with 594 students receiving job offers, including one securing a lucrative INR 1 crore package. 150 companies have participated in the recruitment drive. The average annual package for students is INR 25.68 lakh per annum (LPA), with an average CTC of INR 24.50 LPA.
This year, IIM Indore expanded its network by collaborating with over 50 new recruiters, including prominent names like Accenture Operations, Airtel, Bajaj Consumer Care, CAMS, DataLink, ESAF Bank, Godrej & Boyce, HCL Software, and HDFC Life.
Regarding sector-wise distribution, consulting roles constituted 25% of the total offers, showcasing the institute's strong ties with leading consulting recruiters. The finance sector attracted 19% of the offers, and Sales & Marketing roles comprised another 19% of offers during the placement drive.
Additionally, 12% of the batch pursued positions in IT/Analytics, while 25% received General Management, HR & Operations offers from various companies. IIM Indore's global standing is reinforced by its accreditations from three prestigious international agencies: AMBA, AACSB, and EQUIS.
In the FT Global 2023 and QS World University Rankings, IIM Indore secured the 4th and 6th positions among all IIMs, which showed its reputation for providing top-tier management education. The placement drive reflects the institute's dedication to providing students with exceptional career prospects and industry-relevant education.
Professor Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore, emphasised the institute's commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry, stating, "Our students' ability to secure fulfilling career opportunities, despite ongoing economic uncertainties, underscores the efficacy of our philosophy."
