IIM Indore has released the admission criteria for its flagship two-year Postgraduate Programme (PGP) for the 2026-28 batch.

The selection process is based on CAT 2025 scores, academic performance, work experience, and personal interview (PI) results.

The application process is online, and candidates must meet specific eligibility and fee requirements to apply.

Candidates applying for IIM Indore PGP must pay an application fee to submit their CAT 2025 application form. The fee is INR 2,500 for General, EWS, and NC-OBC categories, and INR 1,250 for SC, ST, and PwD categories.

IIM Indore PGP 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for IIM Indore's two-year Postgraduate Programme (PGP) 2026-28, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST, and PwD candidates).

The degree must be awarded by a recognised university or institution as per UGC norms. Candidates appearing in their final year of graduation or awaiting results can also apply, but they must submit a certificate from their university confirming completion of all requirements by June 30, 2026.

Professional degree holders (CA/CS/ICWA/FIAI) with the required percentage are also eligible. Candidates must appear for CAT 2025 and meet the minimum sectional and overall percentile cut-offs as specified by IIM Indore.

Candidates must meet the minimum academic and CAT percentile requirements.

The cut-offs for CAT 2025 are: General/EWS: 90% overall, 80% in each sectionNC-OBC: 80% overall, 70% in each sectionSC: 60% overall, 55% in each section/PwD: 45% overall, 40% in each section.

Shortlist for Personal Interview (PI): Eligible candidates are shortlisted based on a composite score.

This score is calculated as: CAT 2025 sectional scores: 55%Class 12 marks: 25%Class 10 marks: 10%Work experience: 3% Diversity factor: 7 marks.

Shortlisted candidates are informed in January 2026.Final Selection:

The final composite score for admission includes: CAT 2025 sectional scores: 40%Class 10 marks: 5%Class 12 marks: 5%PI score: 45%Diversity factor: 5 marks.

Candidates must also meet minimum performance standards in each PI parameter.

All candidates must maintain a valid email and mobile number throughout the process. IIM Indore reserves the right to modify the process as per government or institutional directives.

IIM Indore PGP 2026 Fee Structure

The total course fee for the two-year PGP programme at IIM Indore is INR 21,17,158 for Indian candidates.

This fee covers tuition, access to academic amenities, and alumni fees but excludes hostel charges, insurance, and textbooks.

IIM Indore PGP 2026 - How to Apply?

  • Register and fill out the CAT 2025 application form online.
  • Pay the application fee as per the candidate’s category.
  • After the CAT results, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the PI round.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be informed in January 2026 and must appear for the personal interview, which may be conducted offline or online in major cities.
  • Final selection is based on the composite score, with PI performance carrying the highest weightage.
