New Delhi: IIM Bangalore introduces a New Age Business Models course through their digital learning platform, IIMBx. This six-week online program is available on SWAYAM, the Ministry of Education's online learning platform free of cost. The registration deadline is set for February 29, 2024.
The IIM Bangalore’s New Age Business Models course is launched for various audiences, including undergraduates, postgraduates in business management, working professionals, aspiring entrepreneurs, and business owners.
Professor K Ganesh, an adjunct faculty at IIM-Bangalore and an experienced entrepreneur, has designed the course. It encompasses emerging business models like platforms, marketplaces, aggregators, and direct-to-consumer businesses.
Additionally, the course features lectures by industry leaders such as Shekar Sharma, CEO of Paytm; Ananth Narayan, CEO and Founder of Mensa Brands; Arun Narayan, Vice President at Tanishq; and Vikram Vaidyanathan, Managing Partner at Matrix Partners, among others.
The teaching methodology incorporates video lectures, case studies, quizzes, self-assessments, and discussion forums, offering learners insights into business models and the operational success of modern companies.
