New Delhi: IIM Bangalore successfully organised its latest edition of the Annual Cultural Festival, UNMAAD 2024: An Aurous Carnival. It is recognised as one of the most significant cultural festivals among business schools in the country. Unmaad was scheduled from February 23 to February 25, 2024 with three days of continuous entertainment. 

Attracting participants from across India, Unmaad 2024 offers a platform to showcase talents through various competitions, including street dramas, musical and dance performances, quizzes, debates, and the grand Unmaad fashion show. It received over 3900 registrations for different performances.

This year, the IIM Bangalore Annual Cultural Festival featured 20+ events. Students were offered prize money worth INR 12 Lakh. In addition to this, it covered three pro shows and more than ten speaker sessions. 

IIM Bangalore organised various skill development programs, ranging from quizzes to food war. Unmaad quiz received the highest registrations among all other competitions, with 752 registrations from all over India. Rap sody, which is a solo rap event, received 29 participants.

Hefty prize money of INR 1,40,000 was offered in three events: FootLoose dance competition, Nukkad Natak- street play event, and Haute Couture- India’s Biggest B-School Fashion Show. Unmaas campus ambassador program was also held with rewards totalling INR 50,000.

Over the years, Unmaad featured performances by renowned artists such as Mohit Chauhan, The Yellow Diary, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, KK, Kailash Kher, Lucky Ali, Strings, Jethro Tull, Indian Ocean, The Local Train, Agam, Benny Dayal, Salim-Sulaiman, and Prateek Kuhad.
