IIM Bangalore Begins Admissions for 2026 PG Program in Business Analytics

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has announced that applications are now open for the Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics (PGPBA) for the 2026 academic session.

The two-year full-time residential programme offers a Master of Business Administration (Business Analytics) degree, designed to develop future leaders skilled in data-driven decision-making and AI applications.

A total of 78 students enrolled in 2025, reflecting the growing demand for business analytics professionals. Interested candidates can now apply through the official website.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the IIM Bangalore PGPBA must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD categories).
  • A valid CAT, GMAT, or GRE score as per IIM Bangalore’s admission requirements.
  • Proficiency in mathematics and analytical reasoning will be an added advantage.

Admission Process

The admission process for IIM Bangalore PGPBA 2026 includes multiple stages:

  1. Online Application Submission: Candidates must fill out the online form and upload relevant documents.
  2. Shortlisting: Based on entrance exam scores and academic performance.
  3. Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates will be evaluated on communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Final Selection: Composite score considering academic background, test scores, work experience, and interview performance.

Applicants are required to keep all necessary documents ready before starting the application process. These include a recent passport-size photograph and signature, along with mark sheets of Class 10, Class 12, and graduation for academic verification.

Candidates must also upload their CAT, GMAT, or GRE scorecard, depending on the entrance exam opted for. Those with prior professional experience should provide work experience certificates, while candidates applying under reserved categories need to submit a valid caste or category certificate as per government norms.
