IIM Ahmedabad has extended the interview application deadline for its PGP and PGP-FABM. The admission process includes application submission, CAT exam, shortlisting for PI & WAT, and final selection. For more details, read the article.

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad), has extended the last date for submission of the interview form for admission to its Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and Post Graduate Programme in Food and Agri-business Management (PGP-FABM) for the 2025-27 session. The last date for application is January 15, 2025, till 4 pm.

IIM Ahmedabad PGP Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria
- A Bachelor’s degree (in any discipline) from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in undergraduate education (45% for candidates from reserved categories).
- Work experience is not mandatory for PGP-FABM, but it is preferred. Candidates with prior experience in the food/agri-business sector may have an advantage.
- Like the PGP program, candidates must have appeared for CAT.
IIM Ahmedabad PGP Admission Process
The PGP-FABM admission process follows the same broad steps as the PGP program:
Stage 1: Application Submission
- Interested candidates need to submit an online application through the IIM Ahmedabad website. The application requires personal, academic, and professional details.
Stage 2: CAT Examination
- As with the PGP, candidates need to appear for the CAT exam, and the CAT score will be an important component in shortlisting candidates for interviews.
Stage 3: Shortlisting for PI & WAT
- Candidates who are shortlisted based on their CAT scores, academic history, and work experience will be invited for a Personal Interview (PI) and, in some cases, a Written Ability Test (WAT).
Stage 4: Personal Interview (PI) & Written Ability Test (WAT)
- The Personal Interview focuses on evaluating the candidate's suitability for the PGP-FABM program, including their interest in the agri-business sector.
- The Written Ability Test assesses the candidate's ability to write coherently on relevant topics, particularly those related to food systems and agri-business management.
Stage 5: Final Selection
- The final selection is based on:
- CAT Score
- PI and WAT performance
- Academic Performance
- Work Experience
- Diversity factors
The final selection results are generally announced in April/May, and the academic session for PGP-FABM also starts in June.
IIM Ahmedabad PGP Admission 2025: Documents Required
Once candidates are selected through the interview process, they will be required to submit several documents as part of the admission process. These documents are used to verify the information provided in the application and ensure that candidates meet the eligibility criteria.
Here’s a list of documents required for admission:
- Mark sheets and degree certificates.
- CAT Scorecard
- Work Experience Certificate (if applicable)
- A valid ID proof like an Aadhaar card, passport, or voter ID.
- Mark sheets for each year of the undergraduate program (or other qualifying exams).
- SC/ST/PwD candidates
- Recent Passport-size Photographs
- Migration Certificate (if applicable)
- Application Fee Payment Receipt
Note: If a candidate is in their final year of undergraduate studies, they must provide a Provisional Certificate or an official letter from the university confirming the expected graduation date.
