IIM Ahmedabad Launches New MBA Programme from Academic Session 2024-25; Read More Here

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has announced the launch of its new two-year online MBA programme for working professionals and entrepreneurs in hybrid mode. It is believed that the programme will follow a case-based approach that will focus on applied learning. 

As per the official announcement, the online MBA programme will combine an on-campus session and a live interactive online session. In sync with IIM Ahmedabad pedagogy, the prorgamme will depend on case-based learning that will ensure the participants gain the knowledge and skills that are required for success in today’s business environment.

The programme aims to provide MBA to a seasoned group with at least three years of experience. The course will be offered in synchronous online mode, with five separate on-campus modules to supplement the programme.

Director of IIMA, Professor Bharat Bhasker, said "We are excited to launch this online programme, which will expand the reach of IIMA and will provide world-class education to working professionals and entrepreneurs around the world."

Chairperson of Online MBA, Professor Joshy Jacob, elaborated on the format of the programme and said, "The programme is designed to teach participants functional and organizational skills necessary to thrive in a challenging world. The offline classes conducted at the institute will focus on interpersonal and organizational dynamics that are complex to maneuver and hard to learn. The online sessions will teach around content that is more amenable for systematic analysis".

• Appearing in the IAT Examination.
• Shortlist announcement and Interview round.
• Finial offers and waitlist announcement.
• Fee payment and commencement of the programme.

Who can Apply for the IIMA Online MBA?

The eligibility criteria for the programme are that the candidate must be a working professional or entrepreneur with a minimum of three years of full-time work experience after completing graduation, as on June 30, 2024. Candidates will be admitted to the programme IIM Ahmedabad online MBA programme depending on the marks obtained in the IIMA Admission Test (IAT) or GMAT or CAT or GRE, and an interview.
