IIIT-Delhi Launches PG Diploma in Interaction Design and UX with TimesPro

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi ( IIITD )has introduced a One-Year Post Graduate Diploma in Interaction Design & UX, designed especially for students and working professionals who want to build a strong career in User Experience (UX) and Design Innovation.

The program will be offered in a Direct-to-Device mode, so students can learn from anywhere in India with an optional 3-day campus immersion at IIIT-Delhi for hands-on learning and networking.

The program is developed in collaboration with TimesPro to build design creativity with cutting-edge technology. It covers everything from design principles and UX research to emerging fields like AR/VR, wearable tech, tangible interfaces, and Generative AI in design.

Students will go through 6 foundation modules and a capstone project, totaling over 330 hours of learning, mixing theory with practical, real-world projects.

According to Prof. Ranjan Bose, Director of IIIT-Delhi, the focus is on developing “practical UX skills that make learners industry-ready.” Program Directors Dr. Pragma Kar and Dr. Richa Gupta added that the course brings together technology, creativity, and human understanding — the core of great design. Mr. Sridhar Nagarajachar, Business Head – Executive Education at TimesPro, highlighted that this partnership aims to provide career-focused, job-ready learning for today’s fast-changing digital world.

PG diploma in Interaction Design and UX is a 12-month online diploma that is offered to candidates who want to build a career in UX and Interaction Design. Students can also learn from top IIIT-Delhi faculty and industry experts, and can work on real design challenges and projects.
