As per the recent IIFT MBA summer placements, the Sales and Marketing sector has secured 35% of total offers. Some of the notable companies like Accenture, Amazon, Capgemini, Deloitte, and Wipro played a significant role in shaping the placement.

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has successfully concluded the summer placements for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program for the academic session 2024-25. The Sales and Marketing sector secured the largest share of offers, accounting for 35% of the total placements.
Some of the leading companies during the IIFT MBA summer placements were Accenture, Amazon, Capgemini, Deloitte, and Wipro collectively contributed 10% to the overall placement figures.

As per the institution's statement, a diverse range of sectors was represented by over 100 recruiters during the placements. The average stipend offered for a two-month internship stood at INR 2.67 lakhs, with a median stipend of INR 2.50 lakhs. The highest stipend offered reached INR 4.50 lakhs, with over 50 offers surpassing INR 4 lakhs.
According to the official press release, finance-related roles accounted for 21% of the offers. Students secured positions in various areas including corporate treasury, investment banking, risk management, and equity. Notable recruiters in this domain included Aditya Birla Capital, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, and HDFC Bank.
The general management sector accounted for 14% of the offers, featuring companies such as Axis Bank, Hero MotoCorp, Maruti Suzuki, Phone Pe, Reliance, and Trident Group, among others. The Trade and operations branch secured an 11% share, with recruiters like Amazon, Apollo Tyres, Maersk, and Shell offering positions.
Further, IT and product management attracted 9% of the offers, with participation from companies such as Amazon, Bloomberg, Capgemini, Cipla, Microsoft, TCS, and Wipro.
Satinder Bhatia, the Institute's Director, highlighted that this year's summer internship selections underscore the ongoing confidence of the corporate sector in the talent pool provided by IIFT. He further highlighted that it serves as an endorsement of the high-quality education and training delivered at the Institute.
