IIFT Begins MBA Admissions 2026 28

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has commenced applications for its MBA (International Business) and MBA (Business Analytics) programs for the 2026–28 session. Aspirants can apply online through the official website iift.ac.in until November 28, 2025, 11:59 PM.

The selection process will be based on CAT 2025 scores, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) rounds starting from March 2026. The final results are expected by April 2026, with the academic session set to begin in June 2026.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has opened admissions for its MBA (International Business) and MBA (Business Analytics) programs for the 2026–28 session. Aspirants for MBA (International Business) must hold a bachelor’s degree of at least three years with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD).

Candidates appearing for final exams can also apply, with proof of qualification required by October 31, 2026. Seats are distributed as 240 each at Delhi and Kolkata and 120 each at GIFT City and Kakinada campuses.

For the MBA (Business Analytics) program, applicants need a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics or Statistics at the graduation level, or a B.Tech/B.E. degree with minimum 50%, or Mathematics at the 10+2 level. The program offers 60 seats at Delhi campus.

The admission process for both programs is based on CAT 2025 scores, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) rounds conducted at multiple centers, including Delhi, Kolkata, Kakinada, GIFT City, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Lucknow, and Mumbai. GDPI centers will be allocated based on candidate preferences and availability.

Fees for the MBA (IB) program range from ₹21.82 lakh at Delhi to ₹19.68 lakh at GIFT City and Kakinada, while the MBA (BA) program at Delhi is ₹17.87 lakh (non-residential). A 50% tuition fee concession is available for SC, ST, and PWD category students.

Application fees are ₹3,000 for MBA (IB) and ₹2,000 for MBA (BA) for General/OBC/EWS candidates, and ₹1,500 and ₹1,000, respectively, for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates. Fees once paid are non-refundable.

Applicants are required to submit passport-sized photographs, signature, academic transcripts, CAT 2025 admit card and scorecard, and valid ID proof. NRI and foreign candidates must additionally provide passport, visa, GRE/GMAT scores, and English proficiency test scores if applicable.

Shortlisted candidates based on CAT 2025 scores will participate in GDPI rounds starting March 2026. The final list of selected candidates will be declared in the last week of April 2026, with classes scheduled to commence in June 2026.
