New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has declared the IGNOU Entrance Exam 2024 Result for BEd, Post Basic BSc Nursing and PhD program on February 28, 2024. Candidates can download their result status from the official website of IGNOU, at ignou.ac.in.

The IGNOU Entrance Exam 2024 for admission to the BEd, PhD and Post Basic BSc Nursing program was held on January 07, 2024. To check the results, registered candidates have to enter their credentials such as registration number and password on the result login page.

For IGNOU PhD Admission 2024, the candidates who secure 50% marks in the entrance test (General category) and (45% marks in the case of SC/ST/OBC(Non-Creamy layers)/EWS/ Differently-abled category) will be short-listed for the Interview.

What are the Tie Breaking Criteria for IGNOU BEd Result 2024?

In case applicants secure the same rank in the IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam 2024, the exam authority will give preference based on the below-mentioned tie-breaking criteria:

Candidates with more than 50% in their PG program will get two points.
Candidates with more than 50% in their UG degree program will get one point.
If the tie remains, higher-scoring contenders will be considered.
If the tie remains after examining the candidates' qualifications, senior candidates in terms of age will be given priority.
