IGNOU’s PGDRPC program is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. Students are expected to complete the IGNOU PGDRPC program within a minimum duration of 1.5 years and a maximum duration of 3 years. There is no age limit to apply for this program. The course fee for IGNOU’s new ODL program - PGDRPC is INR 20,000. IGNOU offers a total of 200 seats for this specific program.

Who is Eligible for the IGNOU’s PGDRPC Admission 2024?

The eligibility criteria for the IGNOU PGDRPC program are as follows:

Bachelor’s Degree (regular mode) with General Psychology courses in all three years
Master’s Degree in any branch of Psychology either in regular or distance mode
Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology either in regular or distance mode

Candidates must pass any of the above-mentioned courses with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. For the SC/ST/OBC category, a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is essential.

How will the IGNOU’s PGDRPC Admission 2024 Merit List be Prepared?

The merit of the candidate will be determined as per the following:

Bachelor’s Degree (as per minimum eligibility) Marks in percentage (30% weightage)
Master’s Degree (as per minimum eligibility) Marks in percentage (70% weightage)

Then aggregate of the above marks will be calculated out of 100 The merit list will be finalized based on the above criteria. The following other conditions may be imposed as the tiebreaker rule:

Master's degree marks will get priority
If the tie persists after the rule ‘a’, then Date of Birth will be considered
