ICAI CA January 2026 Exam Dates

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the exam schedule for the January 2026 CA examinations.

Candidates appearing for Foundation, Intermediate, Final, and Post Qualification Courses should note key dates, exam timings, and city-wise examination centers.

Registration for the upcoming session will begin on November 3, 2025, through ICAI’s Self Service Portal.

The last date for submitting applications without a late fee is November 16, 2025, while corrections and late submissions are allowed until November 22, 2025.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the exam schedule for January 2026, covering Foundation, Intermediate, Final, and Post Qualification courses. No examinations will be held on 14th January 2026 due to festivals.

CA 2026 Examination Timings, Duration, and Exam Cities

All papers of Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses will commence at 2 PM IST, with durations varying between 2 to 4 hours depending on the paper.

While most papers include a 15-minute advance reading time from 1:45 PM to 2 PM IST, certain composite papers and all Post Qualification Courses (INTT – AT & IRM) do not have advance reading time.

The January 2026 Chartered Accountancy examinations will be held across numerous cities in India, including major centers such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Jaipur.

For overseas candidates, exams will be conducted in 9 international cities, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat, Riyadh, and Kathmandu. ICAI reserves the right to withdraw any exam center at its discretion.

How to Register for ICAI CA January 2026 Exams

Candidates can submit their online application forms for the ICAI CA January 2026 examinations through the Self Service Portal (SSP) before the deadline, while submitting with a late fee of ₹600 (India/Thimphu/Kathmandu) or US$ 10 (other overseas centers).

  • Select Your Course
  • Update Profile Information
  • Fill Examination Application Form
  • Pay Examination Fee & Submit Application

The examination fee varies by course and center: for Intermediate and Final courses in India, it ranges from ₹1,500 to ₹3,300 per group/course.

For overseas centers, fees are $325–550, except for Thimphu (Bhutan) and Kathmandu (Nepal), where fees are INR ₹2,200–₹4,000.

Post Qualification Courses such as INTT–AT and IRM have a fee of ₹2,000 per exam. Payments can be made securely online using VISA, MasterCard, Rupay, Net Banking, or BHIM UPI.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has confirmed that candidates can opt for English or Hindi as the medium of examination for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses. For Post Qualification Courses (INTT–AT and IRM), the medium will be English only.

Candidates are advised to regularly check official notifications on www.icai.org and ensure that registrations are completed within the prescribed deadlines. For assistance regarding registration, course conversion, or updating documents, candidates should use the Self Service Portal (SSP).

Experts recommend that candidates plan their preparation in advance, complete application forms, submit examination fees, and finalize exam center preferences within the scheduled window.
