Candidates from the General and Reserved categories must pay application fees of INR 1200 and INR 600, respectively.

The Indian Association for Cultivation of Science has invited applications for its PhD Program for the academic year 2025. Candidates having a master's program GPA of 55% or higher are invited to apply until April 14, 2025. Interviews are tentatively scheduled from May 2 to May 16, 2025.

IACS PhD Program Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Indian Association for Cultivation of Science PhD Program, candidates must meet the eligibility conditions listed below.
- General candidates must have a master's degree with a minimum of 55% or equivalent, whereas SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled and other categories must have 50%.
- The UGC rules specify the minimum eligibility criterion. Qualification and eligibility requirements for each school are listed separately (see below).
- Regular full-time students will be selected based on their academic record, performance in the appropriate national level examination, and, finally, performance in the written test and/or interview as determined by the respective schools.
- Relaxation of the selection criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled and other categories will be levied in accordance with UGC and Government of India regulations.

Applicants will be shortlisted based on merit and eligibility criteria by individual schools. Only selected candidates will be notified via email and invited to a written test and/or interview (to be determined by the School) for final selection. In the event that no eligible applications are received, IACS reserves the right to select or reject any candidate.
