• Candidates need to have a Postgraduate Degree (Master's Degree) with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST) or an equivalent Grade Point Average-GPA.
• To be considered for admission, applicants need to have a minimum of 50% marks in the GU PhD Entrance Exam followed by an interview.
• The Entrance Exam and Interview carry 70% and 30% weightage respectively for the final selection.
• Those who have a valid score in NET/SLET/GATE/RAT/JRF/SRF/examination of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR and or DST INSPIRE fellowship/ICCR or any equivalent test/exam are exempted from the entrance exam.
• Selection of applicants will be based on marks secured in the Written test and Personal Interview.
• Those who do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission seats.
