GJUST has opened online applications for Nursing admissions for the new academic session through a provisional admission process.

Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Hisar, has started accepting online applications for its BSc Nursing and Post Basic BSc Nursing programmes for the academic session 2025–26.
The admission process will be carried out on a provisional basis as the university is awaiting final approval from the concerned authorities. Candidates must visit the official website to complete the application form before November 19, 2025. All details, including eligibility, key dates and entrance test rules, are available in the official notice.

All admissions will remain provisional until approval from DMER Haryana, Haryana Nurses & Midwives Council and Indian Nursing Council.

Eligibility Criteria
The GJUST university has outlined specific eligibility rules for both programmes. For BSc Nursing, candidates must be between 17 and 35 years of age and should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
They need at least 45% marks in these subjects combined, while SC, BC and PwBD candidates require 40%. Students from recognised open schools, including NIOS, can also apply, and all applicants must be medically fit.
For the Post Basic BSc Nursing programme, candidates must have cleared 10+2 from a recognised board, completed GNM, and be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife. Those who completed Matric/10+1 in or before 1986 are also eligible, provided they meet the medical fitness criteria.
GJUST Nursing Admission 2026 Entrance Exam Pattern
The entrance exam for both programmes will be held in offline mode as a written test of three hours. The paper will include 180 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 180 marks, and there will be no negative marking.
The medium of the exam will be English. For the BSc Nursing programme, the questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). For the Post Basic BSc Nursing programme, the exam will consist of subject-based MCQs from the GNM curriculum.
Once the entrance test result is published, the university will release the complete counselling schedule on its website. During counselling, candidates must report with all original documents for verification by the Admission Committee.
Seat allotment will be done strictly based on merit and category guidelines. After document approval, students will have to complete fee payment and reporting formalities as per the instructions.
