GITAM University Round 3 Admissions 2026 Begins; Apply by May 14

GITAM (Deemed to be University) has announced that Round 3 admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are now open across all four campuses.

Eligible candidates must submit their applications through the official portal at apply.gitam.edu by May 14, 2026. The entrance examination and personal interviews will be conducted on May 17, 2026, with results announced the same day.

GITAM is accepting applications for UG and PG courses (except MBA, which follows the same timeline) across four campuses: Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and GIMSR. The admission process is merit-based, with scholarships up to 100% available for eligible candidates.

Applicants can apply for multiple programmes after registration using the same credentials. The university offers 12 schools across disciplines including Engineering, Architecture, Management, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing, Science, and Humanities.

GITAM Admission Test (GAT) Exam Format and Requirements

The GITAM Admission Test (GAT) is a computer-based examination conducted across multiple test centres nationwide. Candidates must download their e-hall tickets from the portal before the exam date.

Valid identification documents required include Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, PAN Card, School/College ID, or Aadhar Card. Applicants must arrive at the test centre at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

No textual materials, calculators, mobile phones, or electronic devices are permitted inside the examination hall.

How to Apply: Step-by-Step Application Process

• Candidates must register on the official GITAM admissions portal and provide basic personal information along with academic qualifications.
• Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory and must be completed.
• After entering current education details, applicants should select their preferred campus, school, and programmes they wish to apply for.

The application fee is ₹1,200 for UG Engineering and PG Management, and ₹600 for other UG and PG programmes, including Architecture, Law, Pharmacy, Humanities, Science, Paramedical, Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Engineering Lateral Entry.

After the May 17 entrance exam and interviews, results will be announced the same day on the official portal. Shortlisted candidates must pay their admission fees by May 24, 2026, to secure their scholarship benefits.

The final admission deadline is May 30, 2026. Candidates are advised to regularly check the GITAM website (gitam.edu) and admissions portal for updates on counselling schedules, seat allocation, and hostel arrangements.
