GITAM (Deemed to be University) has opened its doors for the 2026 Academic Session. The university is inviting online applications for a wide array of Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs across its campuses in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.

Prospective students must submit their applications by March 25, 2026 (excluding MBA). The GITAM will conduct its entrance examination, GAT 2026, on March 28 and 29, 2026. This is a golden opportunity for students seeking quality education in Engineering, Management, Science, Law, and more.

The application fee for UG Engineering and PG Management (MBA) programs is ₹1,200, while for other programs, including UG/PG Architecture, Law, Pharmacy, Humanities, Science, Nursing, and Paramedical, the fee is ₹600. It is important to note that if a candidate applies for multiple programs belonging to different groups, the total fee will increase accordingly; for example, applying for programs in two different groups would require a payment of ₹2,400.

GITAM University Admissions 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Undergraduate (UG): Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% to 60% aggregate marks (60% specifically for B.Tech in PCM subjects).
• Postgraduate (PG): Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

GITAM University Admissions 2026 Selection Process

1. Entrance Exam: Admission is primarily based on the GITAM Admission Test (GAT).
2. Alternative Exams: Valid scores from JEE Main, GATE, NATA, CAT, MAT, CLAT, or CUET are also accepted for specific courses.
3. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates for certain PG and professional programs may need to attend a Personal Interview (PI).
4. Counselling: Final seat allotment is done through an online/offline counselling process based on merit and rank.
