NIRF Ranking 2024 is yet to be disclosed for 13 categories including Engineering, Management, Medical, Dental, Universities etc. The rankings will reflect India's top universities & colleges.

Education Ministry to Announce NIRF Ranking 2024 Soon

New Delhi: The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India will soon release the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 rankings for 13 categories like Engineering, Medical, Management, Dental etc. 

The NIRF 2024 rankings will include India's top universities & colleges for the year 2024. These rankings are based on 5 parameters: Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR), Research, Inclusivity, and Peer Perception.

The Indian government proposed replacing the current system with a binary accrediting system with 3 outcome categories. This proposal would no longer use NAAC grades and scores to rank the IITs.

NIRF Rankings 2023

In the NIRF 2023 Rankings, a total of 8688 institutes were registered. The MoE considers only those educational institutions which have graduated a minimum of three batches of students from full-time programs that last two years for postgraduate studies and three years for undergraduate studies. 

For the last seven years, IIT Madras has been the best engineering school in India. Check the list of leading institutes as per NIRF 2023 rankings below:

The Union Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) launched the “NIRF” ranking system on September 23, 2015. Every year, it ranks various universities, management colleges, engineering colleges, dental colleges etc as per the parameters.
