As per the Assam CEE merit list 2023 released by the education minister of state, Kirtiman Sarma secured Rank 1, while Irfan Hussain and Nilarnab Sutradhar bagged the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. Assam CEE Merit List 2024 is being prepared by the authority and is expected to be released soon.

The Assam CEE Merit list is out now along with the result. The merit list contains names of the candidates who are qualified to fill the Form B and choose their preferences for counseling.

Assam CEE Result has been released on June 19 by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) on the official website astu.ac.in.

The result was initially expected on June 18 but got delayed by a day.

Candidates will be allotted seats considering the choices filled and the rank they secured in CEE 2024.

Candidates who appeared by Assam CEE are allotted ranks based on the total marks attained in all three subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Assam CEE Merit List 2024 is expected to be released soon. The conducting authority ASTU will release the Merit list on the official website in two parts. One merit list will be released for all the candidates who participated in the examination, whereas the second merit list will consist of only the names of candidates belonging to various categories. The Assam CEE Answer Key 2024 has been released by ASTU on June 2. Those who appeared for the examination can view the answer key by visiting the official website astu.ac.in. Candidates were permitted to raise objections against the provisional answer key till June 4. The scorecard will be based on the final answer key.

Find out the topics or sections seeking greater attention and containing good weightage. Chalk out a realistic plan for preparation without compromising on your health. Candidates appearing for the examination must have a stronghold in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The syllabus mostly consists of topics studied in Class 11 and 12, but sometimes advanced-level questions can be expected as well. The level of difficulty can be rated moderate to difficult depending on your preparation.

The Assam CEE 2024 followed an offline mode of examination consisting of multiple-choice questions.

Candidates who :

• Are within an age group of 17 to 21 years (24 years for SC and ST candidates).
• Have Qualified 12th class examination from CBSE, ICSE, or AHSEC, Guwahi boards with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects and English as a compulsory language paper
• Have Secured at least 50% marks as an aggregate in these 4 subjects (45% marks for SC and 40% marks for ST candidates)

Are allowed to take the ASSAM CEE examination.

Candidates will receive four marks for every correct answer while one mark would be deducted for a wrong answer. The Assam CEE 2024 test was conducted for three hours. The exam consisted of three sections: mathematics, chemistry, and physics. Each subject had multiple-choice, objective questions. The paper carried 480 marks overall, with 120 questions asked.

The examination was conducted in two languages- English and Hindi; to ensure candidates could take the test without any discomfort arising due to the language barrier.

This examination is held once a year for students who are interested in taking admission for courses in B.E/ B.Tech offered by the Engineering and Technical colleges in Assam.

The counselling notification for Assam CEE 2024 is yet to be announced. Details related to the process along with the registration form release date, fees, and participating institutions will be officially notified by the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam.
