Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (DPU), Pimpri, Pune, has started the PhD Admission 2025-26 process for candidates across India. The deemed-to-be university is inviting online applications for admission to doctoral programmes through an All India proctor-based online entrance test.

Applications are open for multiple faculties, and interested candidates must complete the online form and fee payment by January 3, 2026. The entrance test is scheduled later in January for eligible applicants.

DPU is offering PhD programmes in a wide range of disciplines under different faculties. Available areas include Medicine (including Genetics), Dentistry, Science & Technology, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Ayurved, Commerce & Management, and Homoeopathy.

DPU PhD Admission 2025-26 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria, programme-wise requirements, and academic conditions are clearly mentioned on the official university website. Candidates who have already qualified UGC-NET, SET, CSIR-NET, ICMR, DBT, DST, GATE, or similar national-level exams are exempted from the PhD entrance test.
