The University of Delhi (DU) PG Admission 2023 is ongoing, amid which, the university has taken a step to address candidates whose applications were rejected during the DU CSAS Registration for Postgraduate admissions.

New Delhi: The University of Delhi (DU) PG Admission 2023 process is currently underway. A notification has been issued by the university specifically for candidates whose applications were rejected during the DU CSAS Registration for Postgraduate admissions.

To accommodate these students, Delhi University has introduced two options: placing them in Category 1 or as mid-entrants, depending on the reasons for their rejection.

According to the DU notification, Candidates who initially selected Category-1 in their application form and were subsequently rejected due to non-fulfilment of 'Program Specific Eligibility criteria in Category-2' will be reconsidered for Category-1 in subsequent lists based on their merit.

For those candidates who faced difficulties converting their CGPA into a percentage, DU clarified that the candidates who were unable to convert their CGPA Score into a percentage (%) despite multiple University announcements on the matter, will have the opportunity to perform this conversion during the Mid-Entry window. These candidates will be classified as Mid-Entrants, the DU notice said.

Meanwhile, the DU mid-entry window will be open from 5 pm on August 31 until 4.59 pm on September 1.

The ongoing DU PG CSAS counseling has reached the first round of seat allocation, and the list has been published on the official website. The current admission process is all set to conclude today, on August 22.

Moving forward, the second round of CSAS, commencing on August 25, will release its second allocation list. Delhi University has highlighted three rounds of CSAS seat allocation as part of its process. According to the DU PG Admission timetable, postgraduate course classes are expected to commence from September 1.
