The University of Delhi (DU) is conducting the Master of Science in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (M.Sc PMBB) admission 2026. Candidates allocated seats in Round 1 must pay the admission fee by July 17, 2026. The Round 2 merit list will be released on July 20, 2026 on the official portal at admission.uod.ac.in.

The two-year postgraduate programme is offered by the Department of Plant Molecular Biology. Admission is granted through two parallel streams. Seats are filled through CUET PG 2026 and the DBT GAT-B 2026 examination.

How to Pay the Round 1 Admission Fee?

Candidates who received a Round 1 seat allocation must complete the admission fee payment on the DU admission portal. The payment window closes on July 17, 2026. Missing the deadline may lead to cancellation of the allocated seat.

• Visit the DU admission portal at admission.uod.ac.in.
• Log in using the enrolment number and date of birth.
• Open the M.Sc PMBB allocation letter.
• Click on the fee payment link available on the dashboard.
• Complete the payment using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
• Download and save the fee receipt for future reference.

What Happens in the Round 2 Merit List?

The DU MSc PMBB Round 2 merit list will be released on July 20, 2026 on the admission portal. It will include seats that remain vacant after the Round 1 fee payment deadline on July 17, 2026.

Candidates who were not allocated a seat in Round 1 will be considered based on their rank, category, seat availability, and admission stream.

Fresh seat allocation letters will be issued through the candidate dashboard. Allocated candidates will receive a separate window to accept the seat and pay the admission fee.

Who Is Eligible for DU MSc PMBB 2026?

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. The minimum aggregate marks required for admission are given below.

For the CUET PG admission stream, candidates must qualify either SCQP07 (Botany) or SCQP17 (Life Sciences).

For the GAT-B admission stream, candidates must have qualified the DBT GAT-B 2026 examination.
