DU Admission 2024 for UG Courses to Begin Soon; Registration for PG Courses start from April 25

DU has received the maximum number of applications for CUET UG 2024 among the central universities in the country. A whooping 26 lakh candidates have shown their interest in DU Admission for the academic session 2024-25.

New Delhi: The Delhi University (DU) is expected to start the application process for its various UG, PG Courses soon. The university has published the starting date for PG Applications from April 25, 2024. The application process for UG Admission will begin in mid-May 2024. 

Yogesh Singh, Vice Chancellor of DU announced the above-mentioned dates during a press conference held by the university. DU will offer admission to its 82 PG Courses through CUET PG 2024. The result for CUET PG 2024 has been released on April 13, 2024. Based on this, the university has declared April 25, 2024 as the date for commencement of registration for PG Admission 2024. 

DU offers admission to UG Courses through CUET UG 2024. The CUET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted from May 15-31, 2024. The result will be released on June 30, 2024. It is expected that DU will begin the registration process for UG Courses after the CUET UG result is released. 

For admission to DU’s top colleges such as St. Stephens College, Miranda House, Hindu College, and others, candidates must score at least 700 to 800 marks in the CUET examination. Last year over 3 Lakhs students applied for admission to UG courses, while more than 11000 applications were received in the the first round for PG admissions. The acceptance rate of Delhi University is around 64% as only top-scoring candidates get admission.

This year, for CUET UG 2024, DU has topped the list of universities on the number of applications received with a whopping 26 lakh applications from students across the country.
