Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Candidates must have appeared for CUET UG 2026 to be eligible. They must also have secured at least 50% marks in Class 12. Mathematics or Applied Mathematics is a mandatory Class 12 subject.

The qualifying exam must be from a recognised board. Merit is drawn using Mathematics, two domain subjects, and one language. One additional domain subject may replace the language paper.

How to Apply for the Special Spot Round?

Candidates should complete these steps on the official DTU admission portal:

  1. Visit the DTU official website at dtu.ac.in.
  2. Open the BA (Hons) Economics notice for the Special Spot Round.
  3. Register using personal, academic, and CUET UG 2026 details.
  4. Pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs 1,500 online.
  5. Submit the completed form and download the confirmation page.

Seat Reservation Pattern

Of the 182 sanctioned seats, 85% are reserved for candidates from within NCT of Delhi. The remaining 15% are open to outside-Delhi applicants. Reservations for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, and PwD follow central government norms.

What Happens at the Counselling?

Shortlisted candidates must report at USME East Delhi Campus by 10 AM on August 31. Document verification is carried out on the spot before seat allotment. Only candidates who complete the application window will be considered.

Seat allotment during the spot round follows CUET UG 2026 merit and category. Selected candidates must pay the admission fee immediately to lock the seat. Missing the reporting slot may result in losing the offer.

Applicants should carry the following originals along with one set of photocopies:

  • CUET UG 2026 scorecard and admit card
  • Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate

  2. Match your CUET UG 2026 score and Class 12 subjects against the eligibility rules.

  4. Complete the online form and pay Rs 1,500 before the deadline.
  5. Reach USME East Delhi Campus by 10 AM on August 31 with documents.
