The Higher Education Department, Tripura, has released the UG admission schedule for the 2026-27 academic session, with online applications opening for BA, BSc, and BCom programmes in government degree colleges.

The Higher Education Department, Government of Tripura has announced the complete UG admission schedule for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates can complete online registration from May 29 to June 7, 2026 (midnight) through the SAMARTH portal at dhetripuraadmission.samarth.ac.in. The admission process is completely online, and no offline applications will be accepted. BA, BSc, and BCom (Major) courses are available in government general degree colleges across Tripura. The first merit list will be released on June 19, 2026, followed by multiple admission rounds to fill vacant seats.

How to Register?
Visit dhetripuraadmission.samarth.ac.in, click on the registration link, and create your individual login account. Fill in your personal details, including email ID, mobile number, Aadhaar details, and Higher Secondary marks. Upload the required documents and complete the registration before the deadline. Candidates should save their login credentials for future use.
Candidates applying for Tripura UG admissions can choose up to four colleges, with the option to select two major subjects in each college. Admission will be granted based on the subject-wise merit list, which will be prepared using the index percentage calculated from the best five Higher Secondary subjects along with marks in the chosen major subject. The Tripura State reservation policy will apply during seat allocation, and final admission will be confirmed only after successful verification of original documents.
Applicants must use their own email ID and mobile number for communication, provide valid Aadhaar details, and upload clear scanned copies of all required documents. Since the admission process is completely online, no offline applications will be accepted. Candidates are advised to keep a printout of their submitted application and regularly check the SAMARTH portal for important updates.
The first merit list will be published on June 19, and seat allotment will be done based on merit, reservation rules, and seat availability. Candidates who are not selected in the initial round may still have chances in later rounds, as vacancy lists will be released after each admission phase.
