CUSAT Sets New Benchmark with 640 Students Placed in Recruitment Drive

New Delhi: Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) has achieved remarkable placements during its current campus recruiting season with over 640 final-year students securing job offers from leading companies. The top offers were made by IT companies. 

As per CUSAT, this year’s placement drive recorded the highest salary package at INR 25 Lakh per annum and the average salary stood at INR 6.7 lakh per annum. Around 50 organizations took part in the recruitment process this season with four companies offering more than INR 15 lakh packages annually.

Following the CUSAT Placement 2024 data, the highest package did not rise over the previous year. However, there was a rise in the average monthly package offered during the drive. In the placement session of 2023, the average package recorded was INR 4.9 lakhs. 

Top Recruiters at CUSAT Recruitment Drive 2024

Companies that offered job opportunities comprised CISCO, TCS, Accenture, Air India, Tata Projects, IBM, MRF, Ernst & Young, UST, Tata Elxsi, L&T Construction, Tata Consulting Engineers, Hyundai, Visteon, Alstom, Reliance Industries, Tata Power, and IOCL. Major recruiters consisting of TCS, IBM, and Accenture are expected in the second phase of recruitment.

Currently, CUSAT is accepting applications for admission to its UG and PG courses through the Common Entrance Test (CAT-2024) by March 15, 2024. The last date to apply for the MBA program is April 30, and the MTech program is May 3, 2024. Candidates can apply online at admissions.
