CMRIT PG Admission: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for postgraduate programs must have completed a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks across all years. For candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Category-I (Karnataka residents), the minimum required aggregate is 45%. Additionally, all candidates must take the mandatory entrance exam.

MBA (Master of Business Administration)

To be eligible for the MBA program, candidates must have completed their Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates from Karnataka). Applicants must also have appeared for one of the following entrance exams: PGCET, KMAT, MAT, CAT, or CMAT.

MCA (Master of Computer Applications)

Candidates seeking admission to the MCA program must have a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates from Karnataka). They must have also appeared for one of the prescribed entrance exams: PGCET or KMAT.

PGCET Process

Karnataka candidates must take the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by KEA. Based on exam ranks, eligible candidates can select CMRIT during centralized counseling.

Management Admission Process

Open to both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students. Admission is based on academic merit. Candidates must have taken one of the following exams i.e. PGCET, KMAT, CMAT, CAT, or MAT.

MCA Admission Process

PGCET Process

Karnataka candidates must take the PGCET. Qualifying candidates can opt for CMRIT during centralized counseling.

Management Admission Process

Open to both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students. Admission is based on academic merit, with qualifications from PGCET or KMAT.

CMRIT PG Admission: Required Documents

At the time of admission, candidates must submit the following documents in original along with copies:

• Rank Card of the entrance exam taken
• Marks Card of Second PUC / 12th or equivalent
• Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate from the last attended institution
• Proof of Date of Birth (SSLC / 10th pass certificate)
• Degree Marks Cards for all semesters
• Passport-size (4) and Stamp-size (1) photographs
• Migration Certificate
• Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC)
• Study Certificate
• Aadhar Card copy
