The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, has announced the initiation of a fresh round of online registrations to fill vacant seats in private dental colleges for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program under NEET 2024.
Eligible candidates can register and participate in the counselling process from October 30, 2024 (12 PM) to October 31, 2024 (11:59 PM) by visiting the official website.

Registration Fee:
- Unreserved (UR) and OBC candidates: ₹1,000
- SC/ST candidates: ₹500
Allotment Procedure:
- First Allotment:
- Seats will initially be offered to candidates who are already registered from previous rounds.
- Second Allotment:
- Vacant seats will be allotted to newly registered candidates based on merit.
Both allotment lists will be published after the registration and choice-filling process.
Important Instructions:
- Candidates are advised to download and print their allotment memo and follow further instructions for document verification and admission.
- Those allotted seats must complete the admission process as per the stray vacancy round timetable.
Counselling Guidelines:
The process follows Rule 7 (v) of the Chhattisgarh Medical, Dental, and Physiotherapy Graduate Admission Rules, 2018. The objective is to ensure that the merit of previously registered candidates is preserved, while offering vacant seats to new applicants.
