The Directorate of AYUSH (DAY), Chhattisgarh has released the seat matrix for the Undergraduate (UG) AYUSH Counselling 2026-27 on the official portal at cgayush.admissions.nic.in. The seat matrix covers Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) courses offered in the state.
The documents were uploaded on September 3, 2026, along with the Information Bulletin for UG AYUSH Counselling 2026-27 and the counselling schedule. Candidates seeking admission to state quota AYUSH seats can now review the college-wise seat distribution before registration opens.

The counselling covers all state quota seats in government and private AYUSH institutions in Chhattisgarh. Admission is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2026 score. The Directorate has confirmed that registration will begin shortly on the official portal.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 can apply for the Chhattisgarh AYUSH state counselling. Applicants must also meet the domicile and category requirements specified in the Information Bulletin.
The Directorate follows the AYUSH UG Admission Rule 2023, including subsequent amendments. The rulebook has been re-uploaded along with the current bulletin for candidates’ reference.

How Will the Counselling Process Work?
The Chhattisgarh AYUSH UG Counselling 2026 will be conducted in online mode. Candidates must complete online registration, pay the counselling fee, fill in their choices and lock their preferences on the portal.
Seat allotment will be conducted in multiple rounds, followed by a mop-up round to fill the remaining vacant seats. Allotted candidates must download their allotment letter and report to the assigned college within the prescribed period.
The state AYUSH counselling is separate from the All India Quota round held by AACCC. Chhattisgarh students seeking BAMS, BHMS or BNYS seats in the state must register here as well. Missing the state window can shut out home-state seat options.
