Central University of South Bihar Appointed Narendra Kumar Rana as New Secretary

New Delhi: The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has appointed BHU Professor Narendra Kumar Rana as the new secretary. With this, Professor Rana is the fourth Secretary appointed under the full-term criteria established since the university was founded in 2009.

Narendra Kumar Rana formally assumed his role as the new secretary and took office from outgoing Rajiv Kumar Singh who held this position for the last five years. The appointment was made during a special ceremony held at the CUSB university campus.

About Professor Narendra Kumar Rana

Professor Rana worked as a professor in the Department of Geography at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. He has published over 16 publications covering domains like fluvial geomorphology and conservation of blue landscapes.

Some of his publications include Enhancing Drought Resilience: Machine Learning–based Vulnerability Assessment in Uttar Pradesh and Wetland Degradation and its Impacts on Livelihoods and Sustainable Development Goals, Geographical Analysis of Regional Diversity in Health Facility Available in the Uttar Pradesh-Nepal Border District.
