The University of Punjab has released the PhD admission intake list for January 2025. Candidates are required to submit the fee from December 26 to December 30. If a candidate fails to submit the fee within the given timeframe, the seat will be allocated to a waiting list candidate. Candidates must report on January 6, 2025, for document verification, and classes will commence on the same day.

Required Documents
The Candidates are also required to submit the documents given in the Ph.D. Prospectus at the time of registration and document verification, to the respective HoDs
- A print-out of the completed application form
- A valid photo ID
- Self-attested photocopies of all original documents
- The following admission documents:
- CUET admit card and scorecard
- Secondary school marks sheet or valid certificate of date of birth
- Graduation marks sheets or grade sheets
- Graduation or post-graduation degree
- Medical fitness certificate
- Declaration related to health
- Anti-ragging form
- Certificate of conduct or character certificate
- Migration certificate
- Category certificate
- Undertaking for the gap year, if applicable
- CSIR-UGC-NET, JRF/GATE/GPAT, or any other national-level test.
