The Centralized Counselling for M.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech.) Admission (CCMN) 2026 has released its complete schedule for all three phases of counselling.

Online registration and fee payment will commence on May 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM IST through the official CCMN portal. Candidates must complete registration, fee payment, and online choice filling within the specified deadlines to participate in seat allotment rounds.

The entire counselling process will conclude with physical reporting at allotted institutes by August 11, 2026.

CCMN 2026 is a centralized admission process for M.Sc. and M.Sc. (Tech.) programmes across participating institutes. The counselling comprises three phases: regular rounds (May-July), special rounds (July), and national spot round (August).

CCMN 2026 Registration and Fee Payment Process

Candidates must register online on the CCMN portal and pay the registration fee through UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking.

The last date for online registration and fee payment is June 5, 2026, at 5:30 PM IST for regular rounds. Candidates can unlock their registration until June 5, 2026, if they need to make corrections.

Any issues related to fee payment must be resolved by June 8, 2026, for regular rounds. Special rounds have separate registration windows starting July 14, 2026, while the national spot round begins August 1, 2026.

CCMN 2026 Choice Filling and Seat Allotment Details

After registration, candidates must fill their online preferences for courses and institutes in order of preference. The last date for choice filling and locking is June 8, 2026, at 5:30 PM IST for regular rounds.

If candidates do not manually lock their choices, the system will automatically lock saved choices on the deadline. Seat allotment will be announced on June 12, 2026, for round-1, followed by subsequent rounds on June 22 and June 27, 2026.

Candidates allotted seats must pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) and upload required documents for verification by institute officials.

CCMN 2026 Document Verification and Acceptance Fee Payment

Upon seat allotment, candidates must upload documents online and specify their willingness status (Freeze/Float/Slide) within the given timeframe.

Institute officials will verify documents and check special eligibility criteria for allotted seats. For regular round-1, document verification deadline is June 17, 2026, at 5:30 PM IST. Candidates can withdraw from the process at any stage if they wish.

After all regular rounds conclude, candidates must pay the partial admission fee by July 6, 2026, to confirm their seat before physical reporting begins.

CCMN 2026 Special Rounds and National Spot Round Schedule

Special rounds begin July 14, 2026, with fresh registration and choice filling for vacant seats. Two special rounds are scheduled with seat allotment announcements on July 22 and July 27, 2026.

The national spot round commences August 1, 2026, with registration closing August 4, 2026, at 12:30 PM IST.

Seat allotment for the national spot round will be announced August 5, 2026. Physical reporting at finally allotted institutes starts August 5, 2026, and must be completed by August 11, 2026, with balance fee deposition.
