The Central Board of Secondary Education has released CBSE Class 10 Results 2024 on May 13, 2024. You can check your results from the official website cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in or through other platforms like SMS, digilocker or UMANG app.
This year, the board declared CBSE Class 10th and 12th results on the same day. CBSE class 10 results have been announced for more than 20 lakh students who appeared for CBSE class 10 exam from February 15 to March 13.
CBSE Class 10 2024 pass percentage is 93.60%. The pass percentage of boys is 92.7% whereas the pass percentage of girls has surpassed that of boys which is 94.75%. As per media reports, Abhishek from Punjab and Ishan Vasta from Navi Mumbai have scored 99.4% and 99% respectively in CBSE Class 10 Result 2024.
If you are not satisfied with your results, you can apply for reverification of your marks from May 20 to May 24, 2024. The application fee for reverification is Rs. 500 per subject.
Following the previous year's trend, CBSE has not released toppers’ list this year also to avoid unhealthy competition.
A total of 132337 students have been placed in the compartment exam category in CBSE Class 10 Result 2024.
CBSE Class 10 Compartment Exams are likely to be held in July 2024. Students can appear for compartment exam in any one subject. Students who are declared pass but want to improve their marks can also reappear for any 2 subjects.
This year, the overall pass percentage is recorded at 93.60%.
- Girls Pass Percentage - 94.75%
- Boys Pass Percentage - 92.71%
To be declared pass in CBSE Class 10 Result 2024, you need to score at least 33% marks in each subject and overall.
CBSE does not mention the percentage in the marksheet. However, you can calculate your percentage using the following formula:
| (Marks obtained in 5 subjects) / (Total Marks) x 100 |
For example, if marks obtained in 5 subjects is 480, divide it by 500 (per subject 100 marks) and multiply the obtained decimal number by 100 - 480 / 500 x 100 = 96%

- Go to the official website of CBSE, cbseresults.nic.in.
- Now click on the link ‘Secondary School Examination (Class X) Result 2024’.
- Provide the necessary login details like roll number, date of birth, school number, and admit card ID, and click on the submit button.
- Your results will be displayed on the screen. To download the result, click on the download button.

- Admit Card ID
