The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10th and 12th board exam results. Students can check their results on cbse.gov.in. They will have to use roll numbers, school numbers and admit card IDs to check CBSE Class 10 results online.
The pass percentage of students in the CBSE 10th exam is 93.66 per cent, which is an increase of 0.06 percentage points compared to last year's 93.60 per cent. A total of 23850796 candidates registered for CBSE Class 10 board exams, out of which 2371939 candidates appeared for the exam and 2221636 candidates passed the exam.
In CBSE Class 10:
- A total of, 45516 or 1.92 percent of students have scored 95 percent or more marks in the board examination.
- Over 1.9 lakh students get 90 percent or more marks in Class 10
- 199944 or 8.43 percent of students have secured 90 percent or more marks in the CBSE Class 10 board examination.

In previous years, CBSE has consistently declared results around the second week of May, with 2024 results announced on May 13 and 2023 results on May 12. The only exception was 2022, when results were delayed until July 22 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

How to check CBSE Board Class 10 Results 2025?
To check your Class 10 CBSE results, you must visit the CBSE’s official website at results.cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in. There will be a link “CBSE 10th Result 2025,”. You have to fill in your login credentials, such as birth date, roll number, and security pin if required.
Once this is done, submit to proceed, and your result will be displayed on the screen. You must download your mark sheet for future purposes.
Please note that these online mark sheets are provisional mark sheets and you are advised to collect original CBSE Class X mark sheets and documents from the school authorities after the announcement of results.
To check or download the CBSE Class 10 Certificate 2025 from DigiLocker, students are required to log in to their DigiLocker account. If you don't have an account yet, create one and complete the verification process. Then, go to the board result section (which can be found through search), enter the required details, and click on the submit button.

To check CBSE results on UMANG app, you need to first download the UMANG App. Create an account and login with your registered number and login. In a key change this year, the CBSE Board has revised its procedure for handling student grievances related to Class 10 and 12 results. According to the updated guidelines, students must now first obtain a photocopy of their evaluated answer sheet before applying for mark verification or re-evaluation.
This marks a departure from the earlier process, where students initially applied for mark verification, then requested their answer scripts, and finally sought re-evaluation. The revised sequence aims to make the grievance process more transparent and informed.
To access your result, keep your admit card handy. You’ll need the roll number, school code, and date of birth to log in and view your marks.
CBSE has introduced a six-digit “access code” based activation for students’ Digilocker accounts.
After the activation of Digilocker accounts, students can access their Digital Academic Documents under the ‘Issued Documents’ section.
CBSE has warned the candidates against a FAKE notice circulating around social media about CBSE result 2025 to be released in two halfs.
- The board will not declare any overall division, distinction or aggregate in CBSE Result 2025. At the same time, it clarified that it will neither calculate nor declare and inform the percentage of marks while announcing the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Result
- To put a restraint on unhealthy competition the board has decided not to release CBSE Class 10 toppers’ list for 2025.
There is still no update on CBSE Class 10 results 2025 release date. However, based on the previous trends, the result will not be out on an weekend. So now the expected CBSE Class 10 result release date is May 13, 2025.
In 2024, the Class 10 pass percentage stood at 93.60%. With this year’s exams reported as easy to moderate, expectations are high that 2025 could surpass the 94% mark.

Last year, the board results were declared on 13th May,2024. It can be anticipated that the results for board exams 2025 will be declared in the second week of May,2025.

The Board said, “A letter dated 2nd May 2025 is being circulated on social media. This letter is FAKE. It has not been issued by CBSE. No official announcement has been made regarding the declaration of Class X/XII 2025 results. We urge students, parents, and stakeholders to Avoid sharing unverified news, Rely only on official sources, For authentic updates, visit: http://cbse.gov.in”
CBSE is expected to release the CBSE Class 10 Result 2025 between 15 May - 20 May 2025, as per previous trends. The resukt link will be out on the official website cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in, along with the CBSE Class 10 Toppers list 2025.
