CBSE Board Exams 2026 Date Sheet Out; Exams from February 17

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced tentative date sheets for the board exams of Classes 10 and 12 for 2026. Over 45 lakh students are expected to sit the exams in India and abroad (26 countries) across 204 subjects.

CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2026 (Tentative)

CBSE Class 10 Phase 1 examinations will be held from February 17 - March 9, 2026. It is mandatory for students to sit for the CBSE Class 10 Phase 1 exams, however students are not obligated to sit for the Phase 2 exams which will be held from May 15 - June 1, 2026, as they are optional. Students in the event of completing both exams can choose to retain the higher of the two exam scores. Check CBSE Class 10 date sheet Phase 1 below:

CBSE will administer the Phase 2 examinations in 2026 only for the subjects of Maths, Science, Social Science, and Languages. These will also coincide with the compartment examinations for students who did not clear their Class 10 Phase 1 examinations. Check CBSE Class 10 date sheet Phase 2 below:

CBSE Class 12 examinations will be held from February 17 - April 9, 2026. Students can check the schedule below and prepare accordingly.
