Exam Day Instructions for Students
To ensure a smooth examination process, CBSE has outlined the following important instructions:
Mandatory Documents:
- All students must carry their CBSE admit card to the exam center.
- Regular students must bring their school identity card and wear their school uniform.
- Private candidates must carry a government-issued photo ID and wear light clothing.
Before Writing the Exam:
- Carefully read all instructions provided on the admit card, question paper, and answer booklet.
- Ensure that any extra sheets are properly placed and securely fastened to the answer booklet before submission.
Permitted Items Inside the Exam Hall:
- Stationery: Transparent pouch, geometry box, writing pad, blue/royal blue ink/ballpoint/gel pen, scale, and eraser.
- Other Essentials: Analogue watch, transparent water bottle, metro card, bus pass, and cash.
Prohibited Items:
- Any written or published material, loose papers, calculators, log tables (provided by the center), electronic pens, or scanners.
- Electronic devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth gadgets, smartwatches, health bands, microphones, and pagers.
- Personal belongings like wallets, goggles, handbags, pouches, and food items (except for diabetic students).
Special Provisions:
- Students with Dyscalculia will be provided with calculators at the examination center.
CBSE 2025 Board Exam Participation
This year, CBSE is conducting Class 10 and 12 board exams for about 44 lakh students of 8,000 schools in India and abroad. The exams will continue until April, following which the evaluation process will begin. Students are asked to report to their exam centres in time, wear the prescribed dress, and comply with all the instructions so as to stay away from any type of discomfort.
