The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the application process for the supplementary exams of Class 10th and 12th will start from June 1,2023.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the commencement of online form submissions for the supplementary exams of Class 10th and 12th. All the Schools must submit the list of candidates appearing for the CBSE class 10th and 12th supplementary exams, which will take place in July.
Hence, schools can visit the official website of Pariksha Sangam at parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in, to complete the application submission process, starting from June 01. According to the CBSE notification, the online submission is specifically for students seeking compartment (1st chance), improvement of performance, and improvement of performance (up to two subjects) for Class 10 and two subjects for CBSE Class 12.
In addition, students categorized as compartment (3rd chance) can appear as private candidates. Students who have been placed in the compartment category during the main examinations have the opportunity to attempt the exam a maximum of three times in order to pass the exam.
The Schools across the country will have to pay INR 300 per subject starting from June 1 to June 15, 2023. While schools in Nepal and outside India need to pay INR 1000 and INR 2000 respectively. However, if the payment is made between June 16 and 17, a late fee of INR 2000 will be applicable.
Regarding Class XII applications, regular students who appeared in the 2023 board exams and were declared as compartment students are eligible to apply for only one subject. On the other hand, for Class X, students declared as compartment students can apply for one or two subjects.
In addition to the LOC Submissions, the CBSE has announced that supplementary examinations for Class XII will take place on July 17, 2023, while the supplementary exams for Class X will commence from the same date. Meanwhile, candidates are advised to refer to the date sheet released by the CBSE for further details.
