New Delhi: Calcutta University has released the Admit Card for the BA LLB entrance exam 2023, which is conducted for admission to the five-year law program for the academic year 2023-2024. Candidates who have applied for BA LLB admission 2023 can now download the Calcutta University BA LLB Admit Card from the official website. 

Calcutta University has scheduled the BA LLB 2023 entrance exam to take place on August 6, 2023. The BA LLB Admit Card will contain essential details such as the candidate's name, exam date, timings, exam center, etc. It is mandatory for candidates to carry the Admit Card on the exam day.

The duration of the BA LLB entrance exam is two hours, and it will be conducted in offline mode. The question paper will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks. Candidates will receive two marks for each correct answer, and there will be no negative marking.

How to Download Calcutta University BA LLB Admit Card 2023? 

Candidates appearing for the BA LLB Entrance Exam can go through the steps to download the BA LLB Admit Card 2023:

Step 1: Go to the official website of Calcutta University, caluniv.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the BA LLB admission section and find the link to download the Admit Card.

Step 3: Enter your application or roll number and password in the provided fields.

Step 4: The BA LLB Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download the Admit Card and take a printout for future reference.

Important Instructions for Calcutta University BA LLB Admission 2023

  • Candidates must paste a self-attested photograph in the designated space on the Admit Card.
  • Report to the respective test centers at least 90 minutes before the exam start time. The entry to the test center will close 30 minutes before the exam begins.
  • Candidates must carry the Admit Card and an original photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID / Passport / Driving License) for verification during the exam.
  • The candidate's name on the photo ID should match exactly with the name on the Admit Card. The photo ID should be undamaged and clear. Candidates without a valid photo ID will not be allowed to take the test. 
  • Specially eligible PWD candidates may request extra time of 20 minutes per hour for the test, subject to prior approval from the appropriate authority at Calcutta University.
  • Specially eligible PWD candidates requiring special assistance due to medical reasons must obtain a prior approval letter from Calcutta University.
  • Only the hall ticket, photo ID card, and black ink pen are allowed inside the test hall.
  • Mobile phones, caps or hats, electronic gadgets, watches, calculators, stationery items, papers, wallets, goggles, jackets, and any jewelry or items containing metal are not allowed inside the exam hall.
  • There is no facility for safekeeping personal belongings outside the test hall, and Calcutta University will not be responsible for any losses.
  • Friends and relatives accompanying the candidates will not be allowed inside the test center.
  • Candidates are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation for the test.
  • The Admit Card is provisional and will be confirmed based on the candidate's fulfillment of eligibility conditions such as academic qualifications, category, PWD status, etc., as stated in their application, subject to verification.
