Ms Bhawna Sharma is the HOD of the Law Department at Kailash Institute of Law and Management, Greater Noida. She holds a BBA degree from IMSEC at Ghaziabad, and an MBA degree from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kamal Technical University, Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, he also holds an LLB degree from MMH College at Ghaziabad and an LLM degree from Kamkus College of Law at Ghaziabad. She has more than 10 years of experience in the fields of law and teaching.
What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?
Leadership is very important for an institute, as it helps guide students and creates a healthy environment for them. According to me, Leadership is not about ruling people; it's more about getting accepted by others and fostering a positive atmosphere in the institute.
How does the curriculum of the college ensure the best practices of industry?
For those who are interested in law, practical knowledge is crucial, alongside theoretical learning, to gain real-time experience. At KILM, we try to engage students in the learning process by taking them to district and session courts for real-time learning.
Any insights into how your institute could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?
KILM provides scholarships to students from the weaker sections of society to ensure access to quality education. KILM firmly believes in the constitutional right to education for every citizen in our country.

What would you like people to know about your institute that they may not know?
KILM always ensures that notes are provided to students in both English and Hindi, which can save a lot of time for students, so they do not miss any important information. We ensure that every student receives the required attention from teachers, which sets Kailash Institute apart from other institutions in competition.
What are some of the biggest challenges you see, both for higher education in general and for your college specifically?
A major challenge is irregular class attendance, which usually affects students' performance during practice. Another issue is students not following the complete syllabus, which negatively impacts their academic progress.
Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth?
The only suggestion for students is to behave ethically, be disciplined, and stay punctual. Maintaining humility is very crucial for sustaining their learning curve and personal growth.
