As a professor, there are some challenges that we face in our day-to-day lives. We need to work at balancing theoretical knowledge with real-world applications and connect with students from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. We try to inculcate critical thinking and problem-solving skills among our students, along with encouraging them to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.


How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance as a professor?

As professors, we have hectic schedules that leave little time for the students and our families. I follow a few rules to create a healthy work-life balance. I make it a point to set boundaries and prioritize tasks so that I always finish what needs to be done on time. I delegate when possible, that not only frees up my schedule but also encourages my juniors as well. I have always sought out support from colleagues and family and engaged in activities that bring joy and relaxation, such as hobbies or spending time in nature.
