Dipmala Subhash Daberao is an accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the field of education. She completed her 10th and 12th grades at Bihar Board Patna and pursued her graduation in English literature from Birvani College, along with a degree from MCM Birvani College. Dipmala also holds an MBA from NIT College Nagpur, an MA in literature from Birvani College, and an M.Com. from an open university. Currently, she is pursuing a B.Ed. and holds a Ph.D. in management. Additionally, Dipmala has a diploma in naturopathy, has completed a fashion design course, and possesses a diploma in cosmology. With her extensive knowledge and experience, she has been serving as a paper setter for B. Com., practical in-charge, and principal of her college for the past five years.

Being the principal of pharmacy college, what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

I am a very cool and calm teacher, and this is my leadership style. And my philosophy is that I really want to give less money and more knowledge. Also, I started a parent meeting pattern so that I could directly contact the parents. I think I will help the staff who are the pillars of my principal's journey find their passion. support, gratitude, and responsibility towards students and teachers’ feelings that they are a part of the journey.

How does the curriculum of your college ensure the best practice of industry?

We are focusing on giving practical knowledge to the students, so we invite some people to our college, and those people are either working or retired from the industry, so they can give more knowledge to the students of our college. Also, we focused on faculty training and development to keep them updated on the internet and the new generation.

Any insights into how your college could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

We are flexible with the fees. If we find out that a student is very poor, then we provide the book from the library. Also, for this, we check first from the outside, like when we personally talk with the parents, and if we realize that the student's condition is not good, we provide them with everything that they need.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the College and the students are?

My role is to reach out to the student personally; if any student needs me, I always try to be with them. Like many students, I message them at night, literally at 11 or 12 oclock, and even then I am also trying to give them a reply. Because this is the only solution to staying with them and staying connected with them.

When you first came into this College, what was your vision for the university?

My vision is to make this college India's best college, and the vision according to the student is to provide them with 100% placement after completing this course. They just believe in their dreams. Or else they are going for higher education at the best university. This is my vision and my aim for my college.

What would you like people to know about your college they may not know?

Just believe in us. Don’t be afraid of believing in us. Because we just want parents to believe in us, we not only try to connect with parents but also with students. For example, many times this happens because some students are not able to understand what they want to do with their lives. At that time, we arrange counseling sections for the students so that they do not just follow the wrong path.
