What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

Just like every other domain, the challenging field of education is continually evolving with new teaching methods, technologies, and research findings. And this kind of dynamism can be appealing to those who thrive on innovation and adaptation. Hence working in this world not only gives me direct opportunities to improve the lives of youths by educating them, but it also allows me to build meaningful and long-lasting relations with the students and teachers community. So, I would say the happiness and satisfaction I receive here post teaching students and interacting with them followed by learning opportunities are the biggest driving forces behind my association with the education sector.

In your opinion, how far are Indian and foreign education systems different from each other?

We all are aware about the foreign universities and institutions very well that they offer continuous practical learning opportunities to students and also engage them in cutting-edge research so as to help them contribute in their respective domains. Whereas the Indian education system is very different and is often criticized for not providing a diverse platform to students where they get an opportunity of learning practically. But we are progressing day by day by improving the education quality, infrastructure and research facilities.

How does the curriculum of IICRM ensure the best practices of the industry?

The curriculum of IICRM is designed and updated regularly to keep pace with changes of various fields and incorporate the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging challenges and technologies. Apart from this, our institution has employed experienced professionals from the industrial world to teach its courses. And these instructors bring real-world knowledge and practical insights into the classroom, and fulfill our vision of delivering the finest quality education to students in the best way possible.

How is your college more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

Our college strongly encourages the recruitment and retention of faculty and staff members from various diverse domains and backgrounds, because we believe that representation among educators and administrators can make underrepresented students feel more at home and improve their overall learning and growth experience.

Apart from this, we have developed an inclusive environment on campus and provide the same learning opportunities to students irrespective of their races or economic backgrounds. Also, any kind of inequality is strictly prohibited here and strict punishments are given to those who do so.

Being the Faculty at IICRM, what are your key responsibilities towards the institute and students?

As the Faculty of IICRM, my responsibilities towards the institute and students actually include a variety of activities aimed at creating a healthy learning environment and contributing to the overall academic and institutional goals. First and foremost, I am accountable to ensure effective classroom teaching by delivering best quality and engaging education to students and advise them for their academic and non-academic issues as and when required.

Other than this, I need to regularly participate in departmental committee work, curriculum development, research or scholarly and recruitment activities of college. Overall, my responsibilities are to ensure that students receive such an amazing education that can prepare them for their future endeavors, because when they will grow, our institution and we will grow as whole.

What do you think should be the IICRM top priority over the next 10 years?

I strongly believe that our goal for the next few years should be on improving our education quality and teaching-learning strategies and making each more innovative by focusing on conceptual learning, real-life application and developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to handle the unpredictable situations. Because unpredictability characterizes the future and the academic sector is changing at a very rapid rate, so being an educational institution, it's critical for us to deliver such education and skills to students that goes beyond standard academics and prepare them for the challenges they will confront in their professions.

What are some of the greatest strengths of your Indian Institute of Clinical Research and Management?

IICRM values all its students and invests heavily in their personal and professional growth and development. And after academics, we provide full support and guidance to them so that they can navigate the right career path as per their skills and passion. Hence, I would say that our college's commitment of ensuring holistic development of students and the supportive and engaging educational experience it provides to them are its biggest source of strengths.

Any suggestions which you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

I would advise my dear students and ambitious youngsters of our society that failure is an inevitable part of the learning process and not life itself, so don't get discouraged by setbacks and use them as another learning opportunity for your personal and intellectual development.

Also, embrace the journey of being a student as it's a golden period in one's life and also be resilient and flexible towards changes, be it on personal or professional level. Last but not the least, be a lifelong learner.

How do you establish a healthy relationship and environment in your institute?

For the purpose of reducing conflicts and misunderstanding among everyone, we have set clear expectations and guidelines for acceptable behavior and performance, as establishing a healthy environment in the institute is a priority for us. And we also encourage collaboration between students and staff members on a regular basis to promote an inclusive culture of teamwork and belongingness.
