Mr. Pranav Raj Aggarwal has been working as the Group CEO of International School of Design, New Delhi. He has studied International Business from ESSEC Business School, Business Administration and Management - General from King's College London and University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business as part of his education. 

He started his professional journey in 2014 with Louis Vuitton as a Summer Intern and later on worked for Welspun Group as an Assistant Treasury Manager, and LFB Paris as a Financial Controller. He holds a rich work experience in Entrepreneurship and Finance of more than 9 years.

What inspired you to establish the International School of Design and join it as a Group CEO?

As the Group CEO of International School of Design, I was presented with the opportunity to shape the future of education in the creative arts and design fields in India. 

And the experience of fostering a dynamic and innovative learning environment where aspiring designers can hone their skills, explore their creativity, and collaborate on ground breaking projects, is truly a thrilling experience for me.

Apart from this, I am also passionate about empowering the next generation of design leaders and nurturing their talents. Hence I would sath that the prospect of building a community of creative minds and witnessing their growth and success is what truly drives me.

How do you foster a supportive and inclusive environment for both students and faculty within the college?

For the purpose of promoting a supportive and inclusive learning-working environment for both teachers and students, we have implemented crystal clear policies and provide them with diverse training programs and created an open forum for dialogue, discussion and feedback. Apart from this, we regularly encourage cross-cultural collaborations and celebrations .

What strategies do you believe are crucial for enhancing student engagement in the learning process and ensuring their success?

I strongly believe that interactive and hands-on learning sessions, mentorship programs and acadeamic support services are very essential to improve students' engagement in the learning process. Along with this, fostering a sense of belonging among students through clubs and extracurricular activities and regular feedback and flexibility in course offerings are required to ensure students success in their respective domains.

In your opinion, how technology plays an important role in education, and how do you integrate it into your college?

In my opinion, Technology acts as a Catalyst for education by transforming the way we learn and create design. Hence in our college, we have integrated online collaboration tools and cutting-edge design software in the course curriculum and have also established ultra-modern virtual labs to empower students to stay ahead in the digital design landscape and foster innovation.

What do you see as the greatest strengths of your college?

The strength of our International School of Design lies in our faculty members who are seasoned industry professionals and accomplished artists and hold a wealth of real-world expertise. Along with this, we have state-of-the-art facilities and our students have access to cutting-edge design software for acquiring hands-on learning experience.

Any advice which you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

I would like to advise my aspiring design students to embrace curiosity and innovation and stay open to diverse influences. Also, keep learning new things and actively participate in mentorship programs and industry interaction sessions. Last but not the least, develop a strong portfolio, persevere through challenges, and trust your creative instincts as all this will lead you to the path of a successful and fulfilling design career.
