BR Ambedkar University Receives Over 4 Lakh Applications for UG Admission via CUET; Check Details Here

New Delhi: According to the officials, BR Ambedkar University has received more than four lakh applications for admission to its 18 undergraduate programs through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2023) for the academic session 2023-24.

For this session, the university has started the admission process for BR Ambedkar University Courses for a total of 1,123 undergraduate seats. Candidates who have a valid score in CUET UG 2023 can apply by submitting their online application form by July 16, 2023.

Informing about the BR Ambedkar University Admission 2023, Vice Chancellor Anu Singh Lather said during a press conference, “BR Ambedkar University has received 4,72,357 (4.72 lakhs) applications through CUET-UG for admission into undergraduate programs”.

However, the applications received are not solely for admission into BR Ambedkar University UG Courses 2023. Candidates have selected the university as one of their preferences while filling out the application form for CUET UG 2023.

As per the registration data, BR Ambedkar University is the fourth most sought-after university in the country for UG Admissions through CUET scores. While the first university on the list is Delhi University.

The selection of applicants for admissions will be based on CUET. The university officials shared, “There is great demand among the students for BR Ambedkar University. However, the number of seats is limited due to space crunch. Many infrastructure projects are in the pipeline and maybe soon we will increase the number of seats”.

“Last year, we received 4,60,363 applications for the 18 programs through CUET-UG. This year, according to the Samarth eGov Suite Admission Portal, 4,72,357 applicants have opted for BR Ambedkar University as an option,” one of the officials added.

BR Ambedkar University UG Admission 2023 includes four stages. After the application process, the merit list will be released on the university website. The list will be calculated based on CUET scores and the availability of admission seats.
