BITS Pilani WILP 2026 Admission

BITS Pilani has announced the application deadline for the January 2026 session of its Work Integrated Learning Programme (WILP) for the B.Tech. Engineering Technology course.

The last date to apply is December 18, 2025, for all programs under WILP.

This program is designed for working professionals seeking to upgrade their skills without taking a career break, and offers a UGC-approved degree from one of India’s most prestigious technical institutions.

BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Program (WILP) offers a total of 54 courses across 9 streams, including Engineering, Business & Management Studies, IT & Software, Science, Medicine & Health Sciences, Banking, Finance & Insurance, Design, Architecture & Planning, and Data Science. These courses include B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, PG Diploma, Certificate, and M.Sc. programs, with each stream having multiple specialisations and electives.

The application fee for all the programs is a one-time payment of INR 1,500. Candidates must pay this fee at the time of submitting their application online.

BITS Pilani WILP 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Course Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech Programs Working professionals with a Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. in relevant disciplines, having at least 60% aggregate marks and mathematics/statistics as mandatory subjects at the university level. Applicants must also have a minimum of two years of work experience after the completion of the degree in relevant domains
M.Tech Programs Employed professionals with a B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Sc. or equivalent in the relevant field, with at least 60% aggregate marks and a minimum of one year of relevant work experience after the degree.
MBA Employed professionals with an Integrated First Degree of BITS (or equivalent like B.E./M.Sc.) with at least 60% aggregate marks and one year of work experience in relevant business domains. Professionals with a three-year undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Science, Economics, Commerce, or Business Management, having studied mathematics/statistics, and two years of relevant work experience are eligible
M.Sc Working professionals with a B.Sc., M.Sc., BE, MCA, MBA, or equivalent are eligible to apply. Applicants with other qualifications like B.Com may apply if they have studied basic mathematics/statistics at both 10+2 and undergraduate levels, with at least 60% aggregate marks and one year of work experience in relevant domains.
PG Diploma Employed professionals holding M.Sc./MCA or its equivalent, working in the software domain, or those with a 3-year UG degree (B.Sc./B.Com./BCA) with 60% marks, a math/stats background, and 2 years of relevant experience.
Certificate Programs Employed professionals holding BE/B.Tech. or equivalent, working in relevant fields, or those with an M.Sc. in Mathematics or Statistics, working in relevant roles, are eligible. A working knowledge of languages like Python is recommended for some courses. These criteria may vary slightly depending on the specific course and specialisation. All applicants must be currently employed or self-employed and provide proof of employment or professional engagement.

BITS Pilani WILP 2026 Selection Process

After submitting the application, the Admissions Cell reviews all applications and communicates the admission decision via email or the application portal within two to three weeks. Shortlisted candidates may be required to provide additional documents and mentor/employer information as part of the selection process.

  • Applicants should register or log in to the official BITS Pilani WILP application portal, fill in all required details, pay the application fee, and submit all necessary documents.
