Candidates have to pay the application fee of INR 2,000 for the Unreserved and OBC categories and INR 1,000 for the SC, ST, and PwD categories at the time of physical reporting to the university. Read the article for more details.

BCKV PhD Admission 2024-25 Via ICAR

Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV) has released the reporting schedule for provisionally selected candidates (up to the 3rd round of counseling) for admission to PhD programs for the academic year 2024-25.

Admissions will be conducted for PhD in Agriculture, PhD in Horticulture, and PhD in Agricultural Engineering programs. Candidates have to report physically for verification of all testimonials, for medical examination, and for final admission under the ICAR quota.

BCKV PhD Fee Structure 2024-25

Admitted candidates have to pay the admission fees (including 1st-semester fees) on the date of physical reporting itself, either in cash or in online mode. In online mode, fees must be paid either through a Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI / Net Banking.

Admitted candidates have to pay the application fees on the date of physical reporting.

BCKV PhD Admission 2024-25 Documents Required

Candidates have to produce the following documents in original along with the self-attested photocopies of the same in A-4 size paper at the time of physical reporting:

  • Documents are uploaded at the time of online application and counseling.
  • Copy of Payment Receipt of Registration Fee paid to ICAR.
  • Computer-generated confirmation page of the online application submitted to NTA.
  • Rank Card issued by the ICAR to eligible candidates.
  • Provisional admission letter issued by ICAR.
  • Allotment Letter issued by the ICAR to eligible candidates.
  • Passport-size color photographs same as uploaded at the time of online application to NTA (4 copies).
  • Bank Account details must have to be submitted as per ICAR rules for USID generation.

In addition to the above documents, candidates have to submit a self-attested copy of the Blood Electrophoresis (Thalassaemia) test report to the In-Charge, Health Centre, BCKV.

Anti-ragging declaration in the form of an affidavit duly signed by the admitted candidates and their guardians have to be submitted to the Office of Dean, Students’ Welfare after the start of classes. Only after receiving the Anti-Ragging Declaration, the University Registration Certificate would be issued to the admitted candidates.
